Chairman
The European Union/Hong Kong Co-operation Committee is chaired by Mr. Michael Treschow and
The Hong Kong/European Union Co-operation Committee is chaired by Dr. Raymond Ch'ien

Members
The members of the European Union Committee are business leaders with a strong interest in Hong Kong and Asia. On the Hong Kong side, members include business leaders from manufacturing, trading and service companies with an interest in the European Union. Members are appointed ad persona for a period of two years.

Joint Committee Meetings
The two committees meet once a year, alternately in Europe and Hong Kong , or as often as may be necessary. The Chairman of the host Committee chairs the Joint Meeting. Meetings are conducted in English.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council, as a non-profit and non-political statutory trade promotion organisation provides secretarial support for the Joint Committee meetings.
