Ladies' Fashion ShoesFine Feminie Footwear
Fashion and comfort are golden rules for Hong Kong manufacturers when it comes to fancy female footwear. Using the very best materials available, companies strive to produce stylish and sleek designs at affordable and competitive prices. Long boots with a winning design and the velvety feel of soft leather are a must for fashion-conscious women in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Working with the best synthetic fibre and fabric from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Korea, Create Earth Co Ltd makes a new, luxurious boot with a soft illustration of a woman wearing jewels. Elegance and flair with a modern touch and dressy heel make it a popular choice for any season. "This is our newest concept," says Fairlin Ip, general manager of Create Earth. "The idea came from our handbag division - because they were selling so well we thought we would try the design on boots." Create Earth has its factory on the Chinese mainland with two production lines employing 300-400 workers and producing 100,000-120,000 pairs of shoes and boots a month. FOB prices and minimum orders depend on the style selected but the company ensures delivery 30- 40 days after an order is confirmed. Selling to markets in the United States, the Middle East and Eastern Europe, Create Earth produces footwear for a customer's own brand name. "We emphasise style and comfort and our customers tell us they like our quality," Ip says. "We have the right style, the right price and the right quality." Design is also important for Lap Ko Shoes Manufacturers Ltd, which has six designers on the mainland and three in Hong Kong creating styles for all ages. Using the best PU from Taiwan and Hong Kong and textiles from Korea, the 13-year-old company can produce a pair of popular long ladies' boots for a competitive US$9.00 FOB Hong Kong. Lap Ko's footwear carries such major brand names as Barbie, Sesame Street and Winnie the Pooh, which are sold in key markets like Europe, the US, Japan and South Africa. The company delivers 45-60 days from confirmation of the order, depending on the size and the time of year placed. Prompt customer service is an essential part of the business relationship at Lap Ko. "We talk to our customers and we respond quickly to inquiries," says Joann Wong of the company's sales and marketing division. "We try to respond on the same day." Some 250 workers at Lap Ko's factory in Huidong on the mainland produce 180,000 pairs of shoes and boots each month. Minimum orders are 600 pairs per style per colour for ladies' shoes. Lap Ko invites customers to visit its new factory, which was built with the latest environmental and safety standards in mind. "Years ago few people cared about the factory other than it met production needs, but now with brand name products a factory is selected very carefully," Wong notes. Conasia Industries (HK) Ltd. manufactures ladies' fashion shoes, boots and sandals with the finest PU from Taiwan and Korea. The company's 400 workers produce an average of 400,000 shoes and 600,000 sandals each month at a factory in Dongguan. "We have our own style," says Conasia merchandiser Alexis Tang. "Our quality is stable and our material is strong." The minimum order is 600 pairs per colour and 1,200 pairs per style of shoe and Conasia delivers 45-60 days after confirmation is received. Prices range from US$3.70 FOB Hong Kong for shoes to US$5.80 FOB Hong Kong for boots. The company's shoes appear under such brand names as Lucky Top, Top Moda and Yoyo in major markets like the US and the UK. Conasia's website at www.conasiashoes.com lets buyers check new styles. "Merchandise photographs are updated every three months so prospective buyers can have first look at fresh designs," Tang adds. Comfort and classic styling keep customers coming back to C & M Shoes Co. Using soft materials and special colours C & M produces 100,000 shoes per month from its factories in Guangdong Province. The minimum order size is 1,000 shoes per style and the company will deliver 45-60 days after the order is confirmed. C & M's shoes, made from suede and nubuck from the mainland and synthetic leather and textiles from Taiwan, are priced around US$4.00 FOB Hong Kong. C & M has the Two-Mix and Le Modele brand names, but is not sitting on its laurels. "People know our brand names and look for us," explains manager Chow Mei. "We are constantly looking for new styles and try to make them affordable, as well as trying to meet every customer requirement."
