to the Online Exhibitions web-based package specifically developed by the
Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC) to take the hassle out of sourcing
before, during and after major trade shows in Hong Kong.
Online Exhibitions allows
international buyers to familiarise themselves online with the very latest
and best products available from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and Taiwan,
wherever and whenever they want.
Such convenient access
to potentially profitable information not only provides time and cost savings,
it also helps build buyer confidence before major Hong Kong trade fairs, TDC
head of e-commerce and publications Clare Wong maintains.
"Every year, TDC
organises more than 20 international trade fairs - seven of which are the
largest in Asia - attracting some 482,000 buyers," she observes.
"However, while
they are universally recognised as the leading fairs of their kind by suppliers
and buyers alike, their very success has meant that buyers face the impossible
task of researching and meeting thousands of potential suppliers in just a
few days."
Hong Kong trade shows
are therefore the prime focus of the Online Exhibitions concept, which provides:
