1. What is 'Style Hong Kong'?

  • A brand name for the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's (HKTDC) trade expo in emerging markets. Such expos have been organised in Beijing, Shanghai, Dubai, Chengdu, Budapest, Moscow, and Hangzhou since 2003.

2. What about 'Style Hong Kong in Dubai' Exposition?

  • A unique marketing platform provided by the HKTDC for Hong Kong SMEs targeting at the lucrative markets in the Middle East.

  • Initiated in 2004, 'Style Hong King in Dubai' is making its 5th appearance in Dubai this year. In 2007, more than 230 Hong Kong companies showcased thousands of well-designed and branded products at the expo.

  • Being the business hub of the Middle East, Dubai is central to Hong Kong's trade expansion strategy for the region, and 'Style Hong Kong in Dubai' will continue to remain a much-awaited high profile exhibition in the Middle East region.

6. Any discounts available for 'Style Hong Kong in Dubai 2008 exhibitors'?

  • 10% discount (HK$1,500) - New HKTDC Customers not having used HKTDC paid services over the past 12 months*
  • 20% discount (HK$ 3,000) - Participants of Style HK in Budapest 2008
    * Application complete with the required payment must reach HKTDC before 30 Aug 2008 to enjoy the above discounts up to a maximum of 20% off the regular participation fee.

7. How to benefit from the HKSAR Government's SME Exporting Marketing Fund?

  • The fund provides subsidies up to a maximum of HKD 100,000* per company to cover the expenses of participation fees and related travel expenses

8. What is the travel & hotel package?

  • HKTDC will recommend a travel agent to help arrange flights and hotel accommodation (Travel costs to be borne by delegates. Self-arrangement through own agents is optional)

9. What about the sample shipment arrangement?
