The World's Largest Gifts Fair Ends Today!
| The Biggest Gets Bigger! |
 |
The largest gifts show in the world has got even bigger - this 2009 edition has played host to a record-breaking number of exhibitors: over 3,900 from 38 countries and regions.
"This is our first time here ¡ª it has been really helpful to us to be in Hall 1 where the stand-out, design-led items have been brought together, and our booth has been very busy. As a young company ¡ª only 16 months old ¡ª our goal here is to promote our brand of trendy, fun gift items and to make contacts."
Jos Reinders, Director, Fiftytwoways Limited, Hong Kong
"We like this fair because we can find customers here from Asia-Pacific that don¡¯t attend shows in other parts of the world ¡ª but we also find American and European customers here, too. Our products have a lot of history ¡ª they are made by the Mayan peoples of Guatemala ¡ª and through the fair we get the opportunity to explain this in detail."
Luis Carlos Monterroso Ochoa, Marketing & Sales Manager, From The Mayan People To You, Guatemala
"MASCAGNI - a family-owned company founded in 1930 - strives to offer products that are unique and fashionable. We achieve this through a combination of our own Italian design and Asian manufacturing. Our main product line is photo frames, but we are enlarging our range to include premium and corporate gifts, such as flash memory products. We've been exhibiting at this fair for three years - here we can meet with buyers from Asia-Pacific who don't attend the European fairs. We've had very good response from Australian buyers this year, for example."
Davide Cervellati, Export Manager, MASCAGNI S.p.A., Italy
"We first attended this show three years ago - we specialise in promotional items so this fair is perfect for us. We always get a good response from buyers here, and we find the organiser very helpful."
Joakim Eriksson, CEO, Sky Crest Europe Ltd., Finland

"This show is very well organised and you can find innovative products here. I¡¯ve been coming to this event for 10 years ¡ª of the five or six suppliers we use regularly in the Chinese mainland, we found three of them at this show and developed long-term relationships with them."
Muhammed Noufel, CEO & Managing Partner, Al Yasat Gifts & Hotel Supplies, UAE
"We¡¯ve been coming here for many years because we can keep in touch with our suppliers and look for new ones ¡ª we need companies that can produce our own designs. The quality of the suppliers here is good and the staff at the fair are very helpful."
Sergi Derqui, Product Manager, Aramis S.A., Spain
"B2S is part of Thailand¡¯s biggest chain store ¡ª we specialise in books, music and stationery. We want to develop a new product line of trendy gifts, so I¡¯ve come here for the first time to make direct contact with suppliers. I¡¯ve seen many items that would match our style. I¡¯ve found the fair very easy and convenient to visit."
Maturada Rattanakamut, Merchandising Division Manager, B2S Company Limited, Thailand
